"If you don't recount your family history, it will be lost. Honor your own stories and tell them too. The tales may not seem very important, but they are what binds families and makes each of us who we are." ~Madeleine L' Engle~

This website is dedicated to the family of the Kreischer-Brown ancestry. Over the course of time, the family has grown to be rather large, and have scattered throughout the country. With the passing of each generation, stories that were once fondly shared have been long lost or forgotten. It is with great hope that by researching and sharing our family lineage, old and new stories might arise and be passed down to future generations.

All of the information I have posted has come from various sources, and I do everything in my power to be sure that all of it has been verified. I can't thank Kerry enough for all of the time she has invested into unlocking a lot of our family's past. She is greatly appreciated!

If you find any inaccuracies, please contact me! I strongly encourage each of you to post your own memories and stories, pictures and other media as well.

Note about living individuals: For security and privacy reasons, this website does not display birth dates or other personal information of individuals believed to be living. Family members can be authorized with login accounts to view details. Contact me if you wish to sign up for a user account. Thank you!

"This project started out as a small school assignment for one of my daughters. I became so interested in the history that it has become a full-time hobby for me. At a very tender age, I, and my siblings, were lost to the family. Eventually we found our way back, but we lost many precious years of making memories and learning of our heritage. My grandparents (excluding one on my mother's side) had all passed before I was born, so I never had the privilege of getting to know them and learn from them. I rely on the treasured memories shared by my family, and hopefully someday, my children will do the same for theirs." Sincerely, Misty Lynne Brown
